The seventy-fifth annual graduation of Worthington High School was in 1954. Graduates performed a play written by the senior English class entitled "Highway 54." Musical performances were also a part in the ceremony, including the first public presentation of "Hymn to Worthington." The words were written by class member Connie Koepke, to be sung with the music from "Hymn to Ohio."
