Members of the Worthington Civic Ballet and Theatre Arts Guild participated in the Dublin St. Patrick's Day Parade the week after their performance of "The Red Poppy". Barbara Burrows, proprietor of the company is shown behind the wheel of her yellow 1967 Volkswagen bus, nicknamed the Yellow Submarine. Bob Waldsmith, who played the role of the Evil Sorcerer in the Red Poppy rode in the bus in full costume.
