This photograph depicts the original portion of the current Thomas Worthington High School building located at 300 West Dublin Granville Road. It was built in 1952 to accommodate the growth in population following World War II. The land where the school is located was devoted to educational purposes since the Village of Worthington was platted. A school farm occupied the 88 acre site, providing a source of revenue for the Village schools. Additions and renovations to this building were made in 1953, 1957, 1976, 1991, and 1993. When Worthington High School split in 1991, this school was renamed Thomas Worthington High School.
