The Chase Tavern occupied the old Parsons property at 5939 N. High Street. The building had been remodeled, with a new addition to the property which housed the main dining room. The tavern opened for business on August 31, 1929. Approximately 200 guests attended the grand opening. In later years the Moose Lodge occupied the building. Condominiums later occupied the property.
