John Philip Rousculp, age 37, of Jasper, Indiana. Died Wednesday, June 19, 1991, in Jasper. A 1976 graduate of the Kendall School of Design, Grand Rapids, Mich., John was chief designer for Kimball International for 10 years. He then founded a furniture design company that provided design services for many top-line furniture companies in the United States. Throughout his career John received many professional awards for his work. He was a classical guitarist, chess enthusiast, fisherman and skier. John was born in Salzburg, Austria, June 23, 1953 to Robert and Mary (Hoffman) Rousculp and graduated from Worthington High School in 1972. Survived by daughters, Anna and Lisa Rousculp of Ferdinand, Ind.; father, Robert Rousculp of Lynden, Wash.; mother and step-father, Mary and George Hoffman of Columbus; sister, Catherine Kenward of Taos, NM; brothers, Eric of Worthington and Mary of Lynden, Wash.; grandmother Kathryn Rousculp of Columbus, Ohio. A memorial service was held Monday in Jasper's St. Joseph's Cathedral, and a private Memorial will be held by the family in Columbus.
