AMERMAN Marilyn W. Amerman, age 73, of Worthington, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family. Marilyn was a graduate of Purdue University with a BS Degree in Home Economics, with emphasis in Textiles. She was also a talented painter and served as a docent for several years at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. She attended the Second Church of Christ Scientist. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents Albert J. and Georgia (Wilson) Weiss and her sister Suzanne Schroer. Her survivors include her loving husband of 53 years, Carroll R. Amerman; children, Mark (Mei-Chiun Lee) Amerman of Silver Spring, Md., Daniel (Mary) Amerman of Duluth, Minn., Richard (Elinor) Amerman of Seattle, Wash., Gretchen (Dean) Narciso of Worthington and Cynthia (Sean) Monaghan of Baltimore, Md.; grandchildren, Zachary, Allie, Zoe and Alexander Amerman, Sarah, Paige and Amanda Narciso, Sylvia and Forrest Monaghan. Marilyn's unconditional love, unselfish generosity and her good cheer will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A private family interment was held at Flint Cemetery, Worthington, Oh.
