H. Thomas (Tom) Forsha was born on May 30, 1925, in Ben Davis, IN. He died on January 23, 2022, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Tom was a 1943 graduate of Ben Davis High School and attended St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY. He was a 1950 graduate of Indiana University.

Tom served on active duty with the US Navy from 1943 until 1946. He was an enlisted man and an officer. He served aboard the USS Savo Island and USS LST 627 in the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre. He held a commission as a LT in the Naval Reserve.

He was employed as an FBI agent from 1951 until 1980. He served in offices in Connecticut, New York City and Ohio. Following retirement from the FBI in 1980, he was employed as Security Director for the Buckeye Savings and Loan Association in Columbus, Ohio until 1989. He then served as a Fraud Investigator for 5/3 Bank from 1989 until 1992, and thereafter was occupied as a contract investigator for various agencies.

Tom was a long time member of the Central Ohio Hiking Club. He served as an Elder and Sunday School Teacher for Worthington Presbyterian Church. He was a Committee Chairman for Boy Scout Troop #140, Worthington, OH. He was an active member of the Society of Former Special Agents in the FBI. He was a lifetime member of the VFW.

He was married for 65 years to Ruth Elizabeth Kessel who preceded him in death in September 2016. He is survived by his three children; Stephen (Linda) Forsha of Green Bay, WI, Linda (Mike) Waddle of Cincinnati, OH, and Laura (James) Malay of Hampstead, NC. He is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 20, 2022, at 1pm, at the Worthington Presbyterian Church, 773 North High Street, Worthington OH, 43085.
