Mary Ellen (Patterson) Mackay went to her heavenly home on May 9, 2022, after a brief battle with cancer. She was born on March 3, 1947, in Red Bay, Alabama, to the late William and Lester Mae (Hammock) Patterson. She lived most of her life in the Cleveland, Ohio area. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, David A. Mackay; daughter and son-in-law, Susan (Christopher) Judd (Worthington, Ohio); grandson Blake Judd; sister Elizabeth Garner (Brunswick, Ohio); brother Harold (Colette) Patterson (Warren, Michigan); and nieces and their families. Per Mary’s wishes, there will be a private graveside service at Flint Cemetery (Columbus, Ohio).
