Mneatha Ann Henneke-Kramer passed away peacefully, June 28, 2021, due to a long battle with COPD. She is survived by her loving husband, Jay Kramer of 38 years. She was born February 5, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio to Ruth Strausbaugh-Hart and Orrin Hart. Mneatha loved spending time with family and friends, especially cookouts by the pool in her backyard. She enjoyed ceramics, knitting afghans, and watching Little House on the Prairie. She loved decorating her home with family photos and decorated for every season. She had an ornery sense of humor and loved to talk on the phone. She was always there to listen and give advice. Her proudest accomplishment was working for State Teacher's Retirement System as a record's supervisor. She was loved and respected by her colleagues until her retirement in 2004. She remained dear friends with her colleague Linda Sampson who regarded her as an "armchair missionary." Mneatha was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma Nini. She had a feisty personality and always made people around her laugh. She is the loving and devoted mother of John (Lisa), Matt, and Marc (Kari). Cherished wife of Jay Kramer. Adored grandmother of Hunter, Katie, Olivia, Joshlyn, Sarah, Marisa, and Alaina; plus 3 great grandchildren, Gatlin, Odin, and Kaylin. Dear sister of Linda (Bob) Funk. Beloved aunt to Shelli (Kevin), Rob, and Tony (Lauren); and many great nieces and nephews. All of these she loved and touched deeply. Please join us celebrating her life on Tuesday, July 6 from 10 am to 12 pm with a celebration at 12 pm, going to Flint cemetery afterwards.
