The building pictured here, known as the Old Rectory was a residential property at the time of this photograph. It was used as a parish house and rectory for St. John's Episcopal Church. Sold in 1924 when a larger parish house was constructed, it was moved to 799 Hartford Street. The building was in use as a residential rental property until 1965. During that time it was converted into two apartments.
