Christine E. Zombek, 48, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 1998 at home after a long and courageous struggle with breat cancer. Employed as an Administrative Trainer with Ashland Chemical. Member of Bridgeport Chapter #452 O.E.S. Preceded in death by her father Stephen Murphy. Survived by her husband, Ted; mother. LaRue Murphy; brothers, Steve and Jim Murphy; sister, Patty Eyler. Member of Gethsemane Luthern Church, 35 E Stanton Ave., Columbus, where the funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 1998. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Rutherford- Corbin Funeral Home 515 High St., Worthington. Interment Flint Cemetery. Family requests in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to Hospice at Riverside/Grant, 3535 Olentangy River Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43214-9861.
