Swift Thomas E Swift, age 76, died on May 1, 2013, under the amazing care of Dr. Brian J. Carlisle and staff at the Kobacker House, with his family right at his side. Tom, owner of Beechwold Appliance Service, ran his business successfully for over 40 years. An active member in the Clintonville community, Tom took extra joy in his involvement with Boy Scout Troop 474 and the Whetstone High School Boosters. However, his life revolved around and his joy was complete in the deep love and pride he had for his wife, children and grandchildren. Tom is survived by his wife, Martha; six children, Eric D. (Robin) Swift, Lisa Zidar, David M. (Christy) Swift, Suzanne (Jarrod) Flack, Deanna Duke, and Stephen E. (Erxis) Swift; his eight grandchildren, John, Drew and Katie Zidar, Mara Swift, Addison Duke, Charles and Beatrice Flack, and Colin Swift. He is also survived by his three sisters with whom he was very close, Barbara (Richard) Mowery, Linda (Robert) Howe, and Kathy Shortridge; many nieces and nephews; as well as many, many dear friends, all with whom he shared wonderful memories and enjoyed thoroughly.
