LOWE Richard E. "Dick" Lowe, age 81, of Gahanna, died peacefully Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Arlington Care Center of Newark. A 1949 Graduate of Parkersburg High School where he was Class President and had lettered in wrestling and football. He also attended Marietta College. Dick retired in 1987 after 40 years as a Senior Cost Estimator at Rockwell. He is a member of Mifflin Presbyterian Church where he was a Trustee and Elder. He and Marjorie attended numerous Mission Trips together. He was active in the community as a two time Jefferson Township Trustee. Dick loved the Buckeyes! He was an usher at Ohio Stadium for over 40 years. Dick was a devoted family man, a very giving and caring person with his time and energy. He is preceded in death by his wife Marjorie Ann "Marge" Lowe, brothers Donald and Bobby Lowe. He is survived by their children, Vicki (Mike) Hayes, Karen (Barry) Ranney, Marsha Dale and Dr. Robert (Stephanie) Lowe; grandchildren, Nicole (Zach) McMichael, Tyler Ranney, Lindsay Dale, Megan and Shelby Lowe, Kaitlyn and Kendra Hayes, great-grandson, Cash McMichael. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 East Johnstown Road (at Beecher Road), Gahanna. Funeral Service 10 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Mifflin Presbyterian Church, 123 Granville Street, Gahanna, with Pastor John J. Manos officiating. Interment in Flint Cemetery.
