Courtney was born on October 8th 1967 to Edward and Betty Carroll in Cleveland Ohio. She graduated from Northland High School in 1985 and then graduated from The Ohio State University, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1990. After college, Courtney was hired by United Airlines in 1990 as a flight attendant. She was first based out of Los Angeles, CA, then London, England, and finally Washington DC. In December of 2006 she switched companies and continued her career as a flight attendant working for Net Jets based here in Columbus Ohio. In November of 2017 she married Clay Kruse.
She is Survived by husband Clay, Father Ed Carroll, Sister Stephanie (Carroll) Dunlap & Michael Dunlap, nieces Whitney and Riley. In addition to many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by her mother Betty Carroll and Grandparents.
Her family will receive friends on Wednesday May 30th from 5-8pm and on Thursday May 31st from 9-10am with her Memorial Service immediately following starting at 10am. Location is at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High Street. Family and friends will proceed to Flint Cemetery where her urn will be placed in the columbarium.
