Linda V. Freese, age 75 of Worthington, died Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Riverside Hospital. She was a kind and caring Christian woman who loved her family and grandchildren very much and will be dearly missed by them. She loved going to the beach in Florida, Car shows with Paul in the "57" Chevy, and was an avid Buckeyes fan. She worked for many years at J.C. Penney. Surviving are her husband, Paul Freese; one son, Don Hersman; two daughters, Beth Hersman and Karen Hersman; step-son, Kevin (Shelly) Freese; step-daughter, Lisa (Rob) Gilmore; four grandchildren, Dylan, Dalton, Kallie, and Logan; one brother, Bill (Diane) VanDervoort; bestest friend, Judy; and her cat, Lucy. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Gene VanDervoort. Friends may call Monday, November 24, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street.
