Helen C. Chappelear, age 77, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017. She was born on November 7, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Theodore and Nina (Aeh) Senadenos. Helen was a graduate of North High School. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration-Accounting from The Ohio State University. She had various careers throughout her life. Helen worked as office managers at OSU and Nationwise Rod Shop Drag Racing Team. She was the Human Resources Director at Pacer Global Logistics and then the Vice President of Benefits Manager at Brooks Beverage Management, where she retired from. After retirement, Helen became the Human Resources Director of the Southwestern Public Library System. She enjoyed reading, sewing and making crafts, especially handmade cards for all occasions that were given to family members and friends. Helen was also an avid Buckeye Fan. She was a member of the American Management Association, National Association of Female Executives, Soul Support, as well as many other organizations. She will be greatly missed by her children, Christy (Scott) Gray, Robert Norris and Steve (Joy) Chappelear; grandchildren, Sarah (Phill), Justin (Aubree) Chappelear, Brian (Lisa) Smith, Michaella Norris and Alexandra Chappelear; great-grand child, Colin Babka; and her loving cats, Terri agony and Carroway. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by Benjamin, Joshua and Alesha Chappelear, Chloe Babka, Frank Norris, Arthur Chappelear and Sam and Lois Senedenos. Family will receive friends 3-5 PM on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Worthington United Methodist Church, 600 High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085, where family will receive friends from 10 AM until time of service. Interment at Flint Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations/checks made out to Meg's Mission for Mammograms, 10267 Windsor Way, Powell, Ohio 43065 or megsmission.com, in memory of Helen's late great granddaughter, Chloe Babka. She will then use the money to purchase cuddle cots to be donated to OSU labor and delivery to allow families more time with a loved one.
