BRADY Gwen A. Brady. With her family and friends by her side, Gwen A. Brady, 55, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on Sunday June 24, 2012. Gwen was born in Brooklyn, NY, raised on Staten Island, and settled in Columbus, Ohio in the late 90's. She was an established business professional with a heart for ministry. She received a MBA in Business Administration, from Dayton University in 2001 and graduated from the Vineyard Leadership Institute program in 2010. In addition to being a tireless member of Heritage Christian Church (HCC) of Westerville, Gwen was active in the Vineyard Church of Columbus. Gwen was a loving and compassionate woman - traits that were reflected in her constant service to others. She ministered with the Better Way Ministries, which served the less fortunate in the inner city; by coordinating an annual Single Parent Family Fair at HCC; leading several women's Bible studies; and took advantage of the many opportunities of being able to share her faith through the relationships that arose from her vibrant personality, warmth, generosity and kindness to others. Gwen was an outgoing, adventurous person who loved activities as diverse as skydiving, white water rafting, gardening, traveling, and especially entertaining guests at her home and garden. She never met a person she didn't like. She is survived by her beloved husband, Sam Fung; cherished daughter of Richard and Geraldine Brady; loving sister to Paul (Claudia) Brady; sister of Jeannene (Jim) Lenahan; and doting Aunt to James, Lauren, Ryan, Paul and Caitlin. Friends are invited to visit Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 29 at 11 a.m. Both will be held at Heritage Christian Church, 7413 Maxton Road, Westerville, OH 43082. Gwen will be interred at Flint Cemetery, Worthington, OH. In lieu of flowers, Gwen requested that donations be made to one of her several favorite charities: World Vision (wvi.org), America Cancer Society (cancer.org), Alzheimer's Association (alz.org), or Heifer International (heifer.org).
