Thelma Alexander, age 77, St. Ann's Hospital, Wednesday, October 18, 1995. Retired from Doctors Hospital North in 1984. Member Minerva Park UMC, First Community Club, Doctors Hospital 25 year club, Doctors Hospital Guild #6, Revecca lodge. Preceded in death by parents Ellis and Clara Gardner, sister Betty Richardson and brother Edmond Gardner. Survived by children and spouses, William and Cecelia Alexander, Westerville, Richard and Suzanne Alexander, Marengo, Nancy and Frank Ronk, Westervill, Joe and Devvie Alexander, Marengo, Judy and John Stiltner, Mt. Vernon; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers Roy, Robert and "Chub" Gardner; sister, Margaret Gardner. Funeral 11 a.m. Friday in the Minerva Park United Methodist Church, 4930 Cleveland Ave. Rev. Rob Dauber presiding. Friends may call at the Long Funeral Home, 5528 Cleveland Ave. (one block south of St. Rt. 161) Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Burial Flint Cemetery. She was well loved by all and will be deeply missed.
