Worthington, Ohio 43085

From 1948 until August, 1959, Joe Ault operated Ault's Hardware at this address, which had been the site of various hardware stores since 1901. According to a September 17, 1959 "Worthington News" article, from 1901 to 1917, Anson Moore operated a hardware shop here. From 1917 to 1925, it was operated by Lewis Davis and then Joseph Conkle, who sold the store to A.L. Johnson in 1925. Johnson's store remained until he sold to Martin Shindle in 1944, who sold to Vaughan Sellers and Ernest Guy in October, 1947. Joe Ault became owner in January, 1948.
