The Founders Day Service of Thanks 2003 was a contemporary multi-faith service celebrating Worthington's present and future. The service was held at the Worthington Kilbourne High School auditorium and was the closing event of Founders Weekend 2003. The service brought together multiple faiths with one purpose, to give thanks for Worthington and look ahead to the future. Participants included community members from Bahai, Buddhist, Christian, Jewish, Islamic, Sikh, Shinto, Unitarian and other faith traditions. In keeping with the theme of children and hopes for the future of Worthington Youth and Children's choirs sang. Music also includes a special anthem written exclusively for the service. The Sutter Park Peace Chorus and Kilbourne Singers performed "Worthington Trilogy", a children's anthem. The anthem, composed by Deborah Govenor, was commissioned by the Worthington Bicentennial Steering Committee for the City's Bicentennial. This program provides full details of the service.
