This issue of the Chronicle, the Worthington High School student newsletter, highlights the winter formal that will have the theme of "Christmas Casino." Freshman class have lunch options with gym sports, supervised study, movies or going outdoors. International Field Studies will make a 16 day winter trip to Florida and Bahamas to study ecology and marine life. Race Relations is a newer club with goals to better communicate between black and white students. Underground newspapers must follow guidelines but are permitted.
Page 2 features student poem submissions themed around the winter holiday season and an editorial, "A Row of Windows..."
Page 3 has a review on the book "Soledad Brother: The Prison Letters of George Jackson" and an article reminiscing on Christmas memories of cocoa and feathers.
Page 4 is Worthington sports: Intramural program is best in state, 4 WHS football players elected to Ohio Capital Conference team, wrestling team will try to repeat undefeated season, varsity basketball win one and lose a couple games, Coach happy with "unusual" JV football team, and diving team set for strong competition.
