Fondelia Ruth Griswold (b. 1843, d. 1930), is photographed here around age 72. The widow of Worthington Franklin Griswold resided at the Grsiwold Inn located just north of the northeast quadrant of the Village Green on High Street from the time of her marriage until she passed away. Several of her daughters lived in the vicinity, including Ruth, who lived at the Griswold Inn almost her entire life. This image is from a scrapbook that belonged to daughter Harriet Griswold McCullough.
