This photograph features Abner Nathan Pinney (b. 1945, d. 1989) as a young child. Abner, a lifelong Worthington resident, was born to parents Abner Eli and Lella Decker Pinney. Abner Nathan was the fifth "Abner" Pinney to live in Worthington. He grew up at 39 W. Granville Road and graduated from Worthington High School in 1963. While in high school, he served as Class President for one year, Captain of the football team two years.

As an adult, Pinney lived at 44 W. Granville Road with wife Judith and son Michael. He was the owner and operator of a long distance trucking company and formerly associated with Bob Keim Ford.
