This color photograph shows the home at 184 Crandall Drive in the Wilson Hill neighborhood as it appeared in the 1970s. Snow is falling, and covers the roof, yard, driveway and lawn. Two cars are visible in the driveway. The photographer, A.V. Shirk, wrote:
"184 Crandall is where my parents [Albin B. and Maxine Shirk] lived in, I think, the 1970s and 1980s; after they moved from [525] Meadoway Park. The winter photo was taken in the 1970s. The pattern on the garage door is a large, red 'S.' The antenna tower behind the house was my father’s ham radio antenna."
Shirk grew up in Colonial Hills and graduated from Worthington High School in 1956.
