Worthington High School students are pictured publicizing the first College Fair in Worthington during the 1980 Memorial Day parade. The Activity Club and the Worthington High School Guidance Department co-sponsored the event, which was held in the fall of 1980. Representatives from over 100 colleges, universities, and technical schools were available to provide students and parents with information about their programs. Special sessions were held on financial aid, career choices, and scholarships. Participation was open to any student, regardless of where they attended school.
Pictured in this photograph is the 600 block of High Street in the Worthington business district. The first image shows the west side of High St., with Adams The Druggist in the background. The Home Market on the east side of the street is visible in the second photograph.
