Colonial Hills Civic Association & Jubilee Foods sponsored a float, "Home Sweet Home" for Worthington's Bicentennial Homecoming Parade. Features of the float included an ox and cart, representing the use of the land for farming prior to the community's establishment in 1942, and an airplane, symbolic of the Curtis-Wright airplane factory where many early Colonial Hills residents worked.
