Jane Saliaris, local teacher of the art of belly dancing, presented three belly dancing programs in October 1977 at the Worthington Public Library as part of the "Coffee Program" series. The morning coffee hour season provided adult programming and became a popular event held at the Worthington Public Library during the 1970s. Coffee programs coincided with weekly preschool story hours. The Friends of the Library supplied free coffee and babysitting to parents during the programs.
