Clara Maynard (b. 1864, d. 1929) was a daughter of Devoss Maynard (b. 1833, d. 1887) and granddaughter of Moses Maynard Jr. (b. 1792, d. 1862), an early settler of Worthington who migrated here in the first decade of the 1800s from Massachusetts with his father Moses Maynard Sr. (b.1755, d. 1834 ). Devoss Maynard and his children migrated west to Kansas ca. 1870.
