Worthington Libraries staff members Chuck Gibson and Cindy Ault (standing, left to right) are shown here at the Northwest Library just prior to opening day. Staff and their families were invited to tour the new library building. Groundbreaking for the library construction took place on September 13, 1994, and the new library's opening day was on April 16, 1996.
Chuck Gibson had started as the Worthington Libraries’ first technology coordinator in 1995, and built the network for Northwest Library from the ground up. Gibson became director of Worthington Libraries in August 2010.
