Abstract | The leading story in this issue of the Chronicle, the Worthington High School student newsletter, is the new English program that is coming to WHS as students will be able to select their focus on English to make it more interesting and beneficial after completion. Also featured is the Anti-war demonstration, formation of the Student-Faculty Advisory Committee to resolve communication issues, and guidance counselors provide information for colleges. Big news for Mr. Rousculp, who received the Ohioana Book Award and the Chronicle also receives accolades with the Jaos Grand Prize. Page 2 focuses on gratitude with a reminder that there are starving children across the globe; it also features four photographs to drive the point home. Page 3 has the Senior Spotlight on Vicki Sproat, "From Booth Four," and a Crossword Puzzle. Page 4 features Worthington sports with cross country placing 10th in state meet, Freshman coaches happy with football teams performance, and Junior Varsity basketball, which had a tough season. |
