George G. Stein, 1911-1993

George G. Stein, MD, age 83, of Columbus, Monday, October 11, 1993, Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born August 14, 1910 in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Stein was in private practice in Akron, Ohio and served on various hospital staffs. He was also a retired physical from the Student Health Clinic, The Ohio State University. An accomplished musician, beloved and devoted husband to Julia Margaret Pintye Stein and beloved and honored father to Mildred Irene Kirn of Marine, MN, Judith Ann Shafer and George G. Stein III of Columbus, Ohio, beloved and respected grandparent to Walter and Andrew Kirn, Lisa, Eric and Erica Stein, beloved and respected father-in-law and companion to Helga Stein and William E. Shafer. Memorial service 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 15, 1993 at the Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High Street, Worthington. Pastor James Zuber officiating. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association in his memory.
