Ruth (Crowner) L. Shearouse, age 80, of Cardinal Retirement Village, Friday. Retired from General Service Administration, Columbus. Preceded in death by parents, Fred and Bertha Crowner; brother, Charles Crowner; first husband, Robert R. Stuart; second husband, Millard A Shearouse. Survived by stepdaughters, Sandra Shearouse of Orlando, Fla., Kay (Jack) Patterson of Stafford, Va.; sisters, Lillian (Eugene) Desguin of Harbour Heights, Fla., Louise (Robert) Moran of Westerville; brother, Dean (Dorotha) Crowner of Westerville; sister-in-law, Faye Crowner of Worthington; sister-in-law, Louise Gerstle of Savannah, Ga.; brother-in-law, Hugh (Esteese) Shearouse of Savannah Ga.; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, where service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday. Dr. Richard Mitchell officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may if they wish contribute to Alzheimer's Association, in her memory.
