James E. Hunt, age 54, of Columbus, suddenly Monday, January 11, 1999 at home. Currently employed as a Mail Carrier with the Columbus Postal Service. 1964 graduate of Thomas Worthington High School. Vietnam Veteran, U.S. Army, Medivac Unit. Preceded in death by father. Survived by wife and best friend, Linda (Davis) Hunt; mother, Helen Hunt of Worthington; son Chad E. Hunt of Richmond VA; daughter Cassie Hunt of Columbus; step-sons Michael Davis and William Davis, both of Columbus; brother, Charles (Margaret) Hunt of Columbus; nephew, Tim (Angela) Hunt; niece, Amiee Hunt; great-nephew Steven, all of the Columbus area. Funeral Service 10 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 1999 at the Rutherford Corbin Worthington Chapel, 515 High St. with Pastor Dan Stires officiating. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery.
