NEDS Elizabeth Ellen Neds, age 86, died Thursday, September 8, 2011. Born December 9, 1924 to Adrian Arnold and Margaret Charline (Walker) Neds, she graduated from Orange High School, Delaware County, Class of 1941 and The Ohio State University 1945, BS, Home Economics. She taught most of her 32 years in Home Ec. (clothing) at Shore School, Euclid, Ohio where she became Department Chairman. She was a delegate to the 1963 International Congress of Home Ec. teachers in Paris. Ellen is survived by her sisters, Sally Haxton of Columbus and Margaret Briggs of Denton, TX; brother, Eugene (Liz) Neds of Marysville; cousins; former students and fellow teachers. She was a loving and caring aunt to her 10 nieces and nephews and 34 great-nieces and nephews across the country. She is preceded in death by her brothers-in-law Bruce Briggs and Dave Haxton. (The funeral home is located on W. Olentangy St./Powell Rd./SR 750 1/4 mile east of Sawmill Parkway.) Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Worthington.
