Herbert R. Griffith, 59, of Hilliard, Sunday, June 1, 1997 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was a truck driver for 22 years with Suburban Motor Freight and the last 10 years with Yellow Motor Freight. Survived by his wife of 31 years, Joy; daughters, Jill (Jon) Hunt, Columbus, Beth Ann (Chuck) Bartee, Mishawaka, Ind.; sons, Tony )Patty( Griffith, Wheelersburg, Oh. David Griffith, Mr. Sterling, Oh.; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Lucille (Tom) Maggard, West Jefferson, Louise (Bob) Eitel, Mt. Sterling, Marlene (Darrell) Cunningham, Chillicothe, Oh., Linda (Rick) Wilson, Littlestown, Pa., Bobbie Sue (John) Schilling, Mt. Sterling; brothers Jim (Wanda) Griffith, Mt. Sterling, Gerald (Mary Lou) Griffith, Centerburg, Oh., Larry Griffith, Powell, Oh.; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great-nephews; mother-in-law, Melody Barron. Preceded in death by his son Brad, 1976, father-in-law George Cooper, 1980 and his parents Ora and Sada (Wellman) Griffith, 1993. he was a memeber of Teamsters Local #413.
