George Kirk, age 73, of Columbus, Thursday, August 30, 1984, at home. Retired Librarian for the Ohio Historical Society. Graduate of Pomaona College, Masters Degree of Library Science from the University of Michigan. Survived by wife, Winifred, of the residence; son, Richard Krik, Columbus; brother, Dudley Kirk; sister, Margaret Kirk, both of Califorinia; several nieces and nephews. Member of First Unitarian Universalist Church and life member of the Ohio Historical Society. Funeral service 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 4, Rutherford Chapel 2383 N. High St., Columbus. Rev. Carl Whittier officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
