Member of Daylight Lodge, 252 F&AM, Detroit, Mich., AASR, Tampa City, Mo., Antioch Temple Shrine, Dayton, Ohio, Honorary Kentucky Colonel. Funeral service 1 p.m. Wednesday Rutherford Chapel 2383 N. High St. Columbus. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends received at Rutherford's 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, 16-17 His stage career began when he was eight years old. He performed with Ann Corio during the 1920's in the former Hartman Theater on State St.. He was with Al Fields minstrels 1926-28 as a singer and made a recording 48 years ago. He also played the straight man role in comedy routines. In Columbus he worked with Red Skelton and Red Buttons. He also played dramatic roles with Harry Harvy and variety TV with Joan Blondell.
