Ralph W. Heistand, age 83, of Worthington, died Tuesday June 27, 1995 at Doctors Hospital North. Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, State of Ohio for over 50 years. Former owner Heistand Funeral Home, McArthur, Ohio, retired from Schoedinger Funeral Service Member Maple Grove United Methodist Church, 32nd Degree Mason member of Aladdin Temple Shrine. Preceded in death by parents William R. and Faye I. Heistand and daughter Kay Sonja Gault. Survived by wife, Gwendolyn Lamp Heistand; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Linda Heistand, Beaver Falls, Pa.; grandchildren, Matthew Gault and Cindy Englehart, Greensburg, Pa., Kristin Heistand, Las Vegas, Nev., Lori and Cheri Heistand, Beaver Falls, Pa.; great-grandchildren, Adam and Elizabeth Englehart and Matthew T. Gault. Family will receive friends Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High St., Worthington (1/2 mile S. of I-270), where funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday June 30, 1995. Rev. Joel Baer officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
