JAMES Margaret Ann James, age 85, of Worthington, died Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at her residence. An accomplished local artist, Margaret was featured in several one-artist shows, was a member of the Worthington Art League and an avid tennis player. Preceded in death by daughter Phyllis E. James, and son Peter D. James. Married to loving husband of 66 years, Donald A. James, who followed her in death on Saturday June 25, 2011. Survived by devoted sons and daughters-in-law, Warren E. (Susan) James of Winston-Salem, NC, Leonard A. (Michaela) James of Rockbridge, OH, D. Eric (Anita) James of Fairfield, WA, Paul J. James of Jamestown, OH; brothers, Dr. John (Harriet) Goeckler of Yakima, WA, Frank (Helen) Goeckler of Hartford, CT; sister, Betsy (Bob) Swensen of Belleville, WA; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends may call on both Margaret and Don from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2011 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington where Funeral Services for both will be held at 1 p.m. Mr. Don Rule officiating.
