LYNN Homer Stanley Lynn, age 92, longtime resident of Dublin, died on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the Convalarium at Indian Run. In 1960 Homer and his brother Clifford founded the Johnstown Mfg. Co., manufacturer of the first plastic straws. He had also founded the Mer Machine and Tool Co. Veteran of the US Navy, WWII. Member of Dublin Community Church, New England Lodge #4 F&AM, VFW Post 10691 Dublin and longtime member of Dublin Kiwanis. Preceded in death by beloved wife Eileen Rose Lynn, grandson Sean Nolan, brother Clifford, sister Virginia Geese. Loving father to his children who survive him, Sylvia K. Lynn of MS, Jean Nolan, Mark (Lori) Lynn, Steve Lynn all of Dublin; grandchildren, Patrick Nolan, Kyleen, Kenton, Elizabeth, Jenna, Zoe, Ryan and Andrea Lynn; nieces and nephews, Kathy Butler, Bonnie Morris, Mike and Scott Lynn, David Geese and Joyce Holycross; longtime friend, Virginia Miller. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2011 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, where the Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday.
