Agnes Ahrendt Pierson, 97 of Terre Haute, Indiana. Formerly of Charleston, Ill. And Worthington, Ohio, Thursday, January 11, 1996. Born November 11, 1898 in Waterloo, Ind., the daughter of Frederick and Caroline Durst Ahrendt. She married Leland E. Pierson, who died in 1950. Survivors include son, James F. (Anne) Pierson, Ardin, N.C.; daughter, Mrs. John (Joyce) Guckert, Charleston, Ill.; granddaughters, Mrs. James (Karen) Schnorf, Charleston, Ill., Mrs. Wayne (Lisa) Cox, St. Louis, Mo.; great-grandchildren, Lisa and John Schnorf, Charleston, Ill., nieces, Kay Hannum Bartlett, San Francisco, Ca. and Mrs. Sally Hannum Chase, Arlington, Va. Funeral service 10 a.m. Monday at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio. Friends may call 1 hour prior to service. James Meyers officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Third Church of Christ Scientist. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery.
