HOOS Claire "Tee" Hoos, age 88, of Columbus, passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family on February 4, 2007. Born on February 21, 1918, to William and Ruby Hoos. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed baking and made the world's best angel food cake. A long time member of Worthington Methodist Church, she worked for many years and retired from The Frank Gates Service Company. She is preceded in death by her parents and her nephew Bill Burdette. She is survived by her sister, Mildred Burdette of Columbus; her niece, Ann Homsher; grandchildren, Alan (Jayne) Homsher, Lisa (Keith) Williamson; great-grandchildren, Amberley (currently serving overseas in the U.S. Navy), Andy and Alyssa Williamson. Friends may call Wednesday from 3-7 p.m. at the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 4476 N. High St., (two blocks north of Henderson Rd.), 268-8811, where her funeral will be Thursday 11 a.m. Rev. Patricia Oesterle officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
