Clyde E. Storer, age 97, resident of Columbus, Monday, February 27, 1989 Grant Hospital. Preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 66 years, Ella Mae (Tufts) Storer; 4 brothers; 1 sister. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, C. Kenneth and Martha N. Storer, Columbus; grandson and wife, Mark E. and Gail G. Storer; sons, Jeffery and Thomas, all of Columbus, Scott A. and Lori S. Storer, and sons, Jonathon and Alex, Carmel, Ind., Joseph R. Storer, Columbus; sisters-in-law, Doris Storer and Josephine Tufts, Columbus, Maud Storer, Ind.; several nieces and nephews. He was a member of Humbolt Lodge No. 476 F&AM and Horace W. Wright Chapter No. 26 R.A.M. He was a member of Maple Grove United Methodist Church and was a carpenter and home builder in North Columbus area from 1930 until he retired in 1956. He also served as a member of the Sharon Township School Board for many years. Funeral service 1 p.m. Thursday, March 2 in the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington. Pastor Charles Hill officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
