John R. McIntyre, age 75, of Worthington, Wednesday, February 21, 1990, Riverside Methodist Hospital. Retired US Naval Officer after 40 years of service and receiving numerous citations while serving in the South Pacific with Bombing Squadron No. 104 during WWII. Survived by his wife, Thelma; son, Hal McIntyre of Worthington; daughter, Pat Shuster of Columbus; daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and mark Billman of Westerville; grandchildren, Wendi and Jamie Shuster, Kristy and Brian Billman; brother, James McIntyre of Calif.; sister, Eva Kennedy. Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 1990, at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington. Rev. Carl A. Roepcke officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
