Pauline R. Troesch, age 92, of Columbus, formerly of Grandview Heights, passed away on December 10, 2018. She was born on December 1, 1926. Polly is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and William Miller; husband, Ray M. Troesch; and great-grandchildren twins, Caden and Connor Troesch. Survived son, Jerry (Elaine) Troesch and daughter, Peggy (Don) Stevens; grandchildren, Jennifer (Chris) Carr, Brian (Bridget) Troesch, Amy Smith, Jon (Kelly Gawinek) Stevens and Stacey (Michael) Holder; great-grandchildren Chase, Lauren, Sidney, Dylan, Zayden and Quinn; special niece Judy Morehouse; brothers, Floyd (Laura deceased) Miller and John (Barbara) Miller; Life long friends, Margie Carts and Betty Wells. Polly retired from Big Bear Stores after 45+ years of service, completing her career at the Big Bear in Grandview Heights on West Fifth Avenue. Throughout her life, Polly had a talent for Arts & Crafts and had both sewing and knitting machines running around the clock creating baby blankets, baby booties, blankets, sweaters and much more for family, friends and craft fairs around town. Lifelong member of Saint James Lutheran. Her funeral is 11 a.m., Friday December 14, 2018, at St. James Lutheran Church, 5660 Trabue Rd., Columbus, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. Pastor John Hood presiding.
