Loveless Mildred M. Loveless, 100, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015. She was born on December 17, 1914 in Lorain, OH to Vincent and Edna McHenry. Mildred is preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Roger and two sisters Dorothy Fell Matthews of Westlake, OH and Ivadelle Riffle of DeLand, FL. She is survived by her children, Lynne (William) Niblock, David (Cathie) Loveless, and Carol (Philip) Koppel; eight grandchildren, Julie (Henry) McTague, Carolyn (Aaron) Eberle, Stephen (Courtney) Loveless, Erin (Timothy) Hammerstone, Lauren Loveless, Douglas (Kelli) Koppel, Daniel Koppel, and David (Kelsie) Koppel; and five great-grandchildren. Millie graduated from Spencerian College in Cleveland, attended Fenn College, and was a member of Phi Beta Tau Sorority. After working as a secretary at the Austin Co. in Cleveland, she met and married her husband, Roger. Throughout their married life, they were avid OSU fans, enjoyed playing golf and tennis, traveled around the world and loved spending time with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a sixty year member of the Worthington United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and served on many committees. She received the Service Cross from the United Methodist Women and belonged to the Deborah Circle. She was always eager to serve, was a fifty year member of the Franklin County Engineers Auxiliary, and a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader. In her later years, she knitted hats for newborns, collected donations for Ronald McDonald House, and continually helped others at Friendship Village of Columbus. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Friendship Village of Columbus, 5800 Forest Hills Blvd., Columbus, OH 43231. She will be laid to rest at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Worthington, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio Health Foundation, PO Box 600001, Columbus, OH 43272, in Millie's honor.
