Jose Corbin, 51, passed away on August 20 in New York City. He is survived by his partner Joseph Aubain from St. Thomas, VI, parents Jose and Laetitia Corbin Ortega, brother Frank Ortega, sister Lee Ortega, brother-in-law Julien Faure, nephews and nieces, godchildren and countless friends. The Corbin-Ortega family would like to remember and honor Jose "Pepi" Corbin Ortega, who passed away on August 20, 2014 in New York at the age of 51. Jose was baptized at St. John's Episcopal Church in Worthington. His mother's family, the Corbins, were an integral part of the community for many generations. Worthington was the place where he returned with his folks Jose and Laetitia, and siblings Frank and Lee, during the holidays to visit. Jose left this life much too soon, and will be remembered by his family and friends who love and miss him. Part of him will always call Worthington his home, both in body and spirit. He will be laid to rest at the Walnut Grove Cemetery on November 29, at 10 a.m.
