This Worthington Garden Club brochure gives details of membership and the constitution of the organization. The club's mission is stated, encouraging a love for growing plants, developing an appreciation of garden design, promoting village pride in constructive planning and planting and aiding in conservation and creation of beauty. When the club was founded in 1929, membership was limited to women but expanded to include men as associate members in 1931 and eventually as full members. The Worthington Garden Club is one of only a few in Franklin County presently open to couples.
