This is a program for a concert of the Worthington School's Summer School Choral Society, which was assisted by the Westerville Euterpean Band. The program indicates that the concert was held at the "New School Hall", which was most likely referred to at new Worthington High School building, constructed in 1893 in order to accommodate increasing numbers of students. It was located on East Granville Road where Kilbourne Middle School now stands.
Note that the program contains a racial slur in the song title “Darkies Frolic.” Songs presenting stereotyped views of African Americans were extremely popular throughout the United States during the late 1800s and early 1900s. This coincides with the rise of popular music such as ragtime, driven by the innovations of African American songwriters. It's also been suggested that overtly racist and negative content of songs in this era helped to uphold systems of racial segregation and subordination.
