Sisters Ruth Griswold (b. 1876, d. 1965), Mila Griswold (Knapp) (b. 1874, d. 1957), Caroline Hulburd Griswold (Fletcher) (b. 1870, d. 1951), unidentified, and Harriet Griswold (McCullough) (b. 1868, d. 1947) are pictured sitting on the stoop of the back door to the front hall of the Griswold Inn. They were four of fourteen children born to Worthington Franklin Griswold and Fondelia Ruth Griswold. The Inn was originally constructed in 1811 by their great-grandfather Ezra Griswold, who was one of the founders of the Village of Worthington. Worthington Franklin Griswold inherited the Griswold Inn which was converted to a residence where he raised his family.
